Robert Hamilton, O.D.
Dr. Hamilton is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Optometry. He is an Owensboro native who graduated from Daviess County High School and studied at the University of Kentucky for his undergraduate education. Dr. Hamilton is a diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. He holds an expanded therapeutics certificate with an endorsement to perform anterior segment laser procedures. He is a former clinical examiner for the National Board of Optometric Examiners and has previously worked at an area surgical eye clinic. Dr. Hamilton treats ocular disease including minor surgical procedures and the use of our in-office laser. He is also heavily involved in co-management of LASIK and other eye surgeries. He joined RiverPark EyeCare in 2003.
Dr. Hamilton is past trustee of the board of directors of the Kentucky Optometric Association. He is a member of the Owensboro Chamber of Commerce and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Hamilton is also a licensed private pilot and member of the Ayer Flying Club in Owensboro. He is a past president of the Southwest Indiana Optometric Association, and a previous board member of the Huntingburg Lion’s Club. Dr. Hamilton has been in private practice since 1996.
Elizabeth Mauzy-Martin, O.D.
Dr. Mauzy-Martin is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Optometry. She is an Owensboro native who graduated from Kentucky Weslyan College and Owensboro High School. Dr. Mauzy-Martin has completed training in ocular disease in several area surgical co-management centers and disease treatment facilities and she holds an expanded therapeutics certificate with an endorsement to perform some anterior segment laser procedures. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Kentucky Optometric Association. Dr. Martin is also on the Board of Kentucky Wesleyan College and has been in practice since 2012. She is taking appointments for new patients Monday through Saturday. Appointments can be made by calling 685-4966.
